GCN is currently seeking some innovative, organized and ambitious professionals to be a part of our first ever Advisory Board.

Over the past 20 years, GCN has brought homeless adults off of the streets of Midtown Manhattan and into permanent housing. As a member of this board you will help our organization to continue to flourish and fulfill our mission.

The Advisory Board will assist GCN's Development Department with fundraising initiatives which include team event planning and community outreach. All members must be able to commit to one evening meeting per month.
Please note that this is a volunteer opportunity, and a great way to use your skills to help some of New York City's most needy individuals.

Skills

We are looking for professionals who demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Connections to his or her own community and an ability and desire to build new relationships.
• Experience in event planning and fundraising.
• An enthusiasm and commitment for GCN and its cause.
• Must be able to attend one meeting per month.
